Has anyone had this issue? Should I post up each rom to see if someone can give me an idea of whats going on?
Just out of curiosity have you tried turning it back on?

I remember some rom had this weird issue like it would only work but backwards from normal.

I had to wait a few days for my laptop to get cleaned up from best buy but I went back out last night and flashed it again (thinking maybe the battery wasnt charged enough) and same thing. So I flashed another tephra 94170175 and it fired right up.

All of my xml files are updated because I tried downloading the 9653 version a few weeks ago and had trouble opening it up after the download so I made sure my xml's were updated and they were. This just adds to my laundrey list of problems ive been having. I can only flash my evo 8 (havent tried a 9) and 02-03 subies. Anything newer and I just get error codes (2 05 turbo foresters, 06 sti and an 08 evo x). Im thinking im about to reformat my laptop and start over.

This is strange I know i had someone test the 9417 variant before. Do you notice anything weird logging startup like 0 load, really high temps, baro going crazy etc..

Im waiting on the sensors (omni 4 bar and aem iat) to arrive. But plan to load up a 9653 rom and test within the next week or so. Currently on a V7 rom.

Im sorry if this seems noobish. But are folks adjusting their tephra fuel maps to what they expect on the wideband? Then adjusting the kpa-load table to dial it back in? Or just going straight to the kpa-load tables and not having the fuel map match the WB?

You definitely can with SD even with the 2D version i managed to get it working that way. The 3d will just make it easier to spot tune.

I never looked at that. Once it wouldn't start I just threw on my MAF and another ROM so I could at least drive it. SD has been frustrating me so Im taking a break.

i logged it and it was wierd even tho the car behaved a bit better. my idle stuck @ 1.5k load 50-55, -3- -4 psi vac, and tps was stuck @ 33% flashed it over back to maf and everything was normal.. realy realy wierd . i mite toy with the 9417 more tho just because i can rev to 2k and 3k on teh same ve map same everything and no get stuttering flat lean like i do with 9563. (btw your rom is the 1st 9417 that my car can start with i dont know why. smh. lol)

damn this makes me wish i had my evo to test the rom lol!

If the car is running right though which your message almost makes me believe but it logs funny it may be some of your logging settings in evoscan like buad rate or something.

If someone is willing to try 88580714 + 3dVE SD + Livemapping, drop me your email by PM and I will send some stuff for you. I'm sorry but I might keep distribution restricted until few others than me have tested this and it looks 100% problem free.

I have tested this rom on my EDM E9 and I did not find any problems but I was not able to test it well enough as I did not have AFR meter installed on my car so I did not run with higher boost levels (if boost at all...). So, be careful as always with this stuff and remember to report any problems. Anyway, in my case car started right away, I was able to remove MAF without any trouble codes and drive car smoothly Well, to be honest I noticed some throttle hang after update from 88840016 but it disappeared totally after setting this table values to zero (88580014):

Code:
<scaling name="ISCV_AX2_8" units="% Demand" toexpr="x*100/255"  frexpr="x*255/100" format="%.1f" min="0" max="200" inc="0.5"  storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>
 <scaling name="ISCV_AX2_16" units="% Demand" toexpr="x*100/255"  frexpr="x*255/100" format="%.1f" min="0" max="200" inc="0.5"  storagetype="uint16" endian="big"/>

<table name="ISCV Demand RPM Adder [rpm > 4500, load > 170, speed > 12 mph]" category="ISCV Control" address="605c" type="2D" level="2" scaling="ISCV_AX2_8">
        <table name="RPM" address="7af6" type="Y Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>
    </table>
If you are using livemapping functions, remember to reset DEAD after downloading this rom, even it should not be a problem in case of Evo 9 I have noticed that some RAM values might change after download. Now I did not find any issues if I just made DEAD reset OR unplugged middle plug from ecu, RAM values remained unchanged during ignition off/on cycles etc etc... If someone does not feel comfortable with live functions, 3d VE SD can be copied to fresh 88580714 rom with included xml's

Thanks for offer, lets see... I checked earlier very very quickly that at least for VE table there is just enough space in both ROM and RAM after existing alt map space and this can make porting of DMA quite fast.

Most probably a configuration issue. I just flashed the posted 94172715 and transferred my maps with a pretty flat 3d VE table and it fired up the first time/with all settings transferred over as well.

Took it for a cruise and and noticed the LoadxKpa was not linear lol after a WOT pull/fixed it for MY tune (in the standard settings by RS).

I noticed load is dropping to zero on WOT pulls where there should be >290ish. AFR map SEEMS ok. Please verify my logs. I've never seen this issue before with my logging setup and the issue is repeatable as shown in the log.

Just returning the favor as you were one of the first to test my old roms a while back.

I think what your experiencing is the overflow of the 1byte into the next byte so its looking like 0 but its still climbing in ram. Change your divider in the rom to something greater than stock 1.3 perhaps try 2.0 and also change the logging so its correctly set to 2.0 for 1byte load and that will likely solve your issue.
