s2 cams knock tables.

Should adjusting knock tables be necessary for s2 cams and gsc springs retainers?

I found this.. i will raise my knock load to 120 and try. I get very severe part throttle knock. And i am unsure of toying with multipliers

If anything these s2s sound quiet vs my hks.. i attribute that to bleeding lifters though

yes, she is quiet to the ear, I bled them.. i had kind of discovered a "no way its that problem so I wont even try" type of mistake. Skunk2 manifold hogged out by STM + s2 cams.

this is pretty close to all knock gone now. I had taken out too much timing. Im still getting some low load knock, and im trying to compare my hks + stock mani map vs my s2 + s2 map.. and well things arent even close. Im kinda shootin in the dark 200 load all the way! I havent boosted above wastegate yet.

I kind of feel that Im lacking timing seriously, but i think that with a substantial increase in airflow ability that im moving in the right direction.

is my timing way the hell off here or something? I have tried a lot of things, and I cannot get this light throttle knock to go away!

have you tried taking out some overlap?

I am not running the S2's but that solved my knock problem with my HKS 272/280 combo

Im not seeing any difference in taking some overlap out. Im seeing cts of 34. this has got to be false.. Doing a ton of research.

I wonder if my Dynomax vt muffler is rattling and causing a bit of the false knock.

Do you see the same timing drop on a normal non-als rom? Just wondering of some of the timing mods you've done may be messing things up.

Do you think the -10 is a result of the load spike/jitter? Try logging only load and rpm and see if you see the spike. Is the highest load for that rpm set to -10 deg timing? It seems very similar to what I remember experiencing with the 3d ve 9653 rom. But I wasnt seeing it during a pull, only cruising.

just a thought
