New EVODROID7 EvoScan Android GPS/Logger/Reflashing CarPC Touchscreen Review
FWIW Do not leave the 1.3da cable connected to the tablet. It will drain the battery even when the tablet is off. Don't know why, just that it's happened twice. The second time I made sure the evodroid was off.
Is everyone else getting on with theirs just fine?
I would LOVE to get the GPS/Navigation working on the road.
If I do a Factory Data Reset, will it go back to the way I received it with Evoscan and what not?
Pinout information would be really helpful.

Hello,
my order number is #8131. My patience is about to run out. When can I expect the delivery?
Maybe you can also post and from time to time the order numbers executed. Then we would see a progress.

P.S. I can not post anything in my original account. "frank-wob" . Everything is forbidden for me.

Works awesome with the new Google maps update rolled out this week
Can EV Oscan automatically cut boost if found over boosting? Or do you need an OEM failsafe for this?
And how can you log AFR and boost from failsafe to EV Oscan evodroid?

I waited for the proper cable and it shipped today. If anyone has made any progress towards double din mounting this bad boy i'd love to see it.

evodroid apk file
haha, I seem to be answering this question on every page of this thread. and the answer is... after all the EvoDroid7 pre-orders are fulfilled including after the 2nd batch which is end of August, then it will become available. The EvoDroid7 comes with a downloadable apk for their other android phones that only the EvoDroid7 owners can use.

how long do you think it will be before the double din in dash unit will be before ready for testing. I am considering changing my order to one since we where talking about it and figuring out different options for it last fall.
No it can't cut boost, it is a data logging device. Your ECU can control boost cut or you can get something like Turbo Fuse from GFB which can mechanically stop over boosting.
If you want to log AFR and boost you need to install the sensors for both and then wire them into the 1.3da cable.
When an alarm is triggered, will the screen change to show that value really really big or highlight really bright dramatically? Thanks. Is the alarm sound loud?
Is this a serious question?
That's what the gauges are for, to show you what is going on with you car. You can have them really really big if you want.
You can program an audio alarm to warn you when a certain criteria has been met.
So where can we find this file?
You have purchased the Evodroid7, right?
If you have then you will have a been sent the details, if not email Hamish directly.

You have a boost gauge set up on the screen.
The boost goes over your set alarm threshold and the audio alert sounds.
The numbers on the screen boost gauge change from white to red and flash to show you what alert has been tripped.
He wants to know if that last item occurs.
