Programmable ecu output?

I did a bit of searching around about this but couldn't find anything definitively saying yay or nay.

I was looking into this http://magnusmotorsports.com/product...ontrol-device/ Magnus launch control and want to tie it into the ecu with a speed based variable if at all possible. I would want it to be engaged standing still then deactivate over, say 15mph. Would it be possible to tie it into the ROM controlled launch system?

Thanks for any advice or input!

Have you exceeded the limits of the factory lc system?tephra mod.. I can build sustantial boost on a stock ecu more than what is required for a satisfactory launch. Plus that has speed and tps conditions attatched.

To date a lot of the ecu switches send info to the ECU. This requires the ECU to send information out. I suppose it could be done but would require some custom work.

it can be done, however, its necessary to steal an output.

So it could be possible to use the ICS output and maybe correlate that to mph? Is there a semi-related thread that I could be pointed to? Unfortunately I think it's way over my head at the moment but I'm willing to learn.

ICS? I don't think there are any threads on this topic for Evos. I just something that I know is possible and that I have contemplated doing for controlling something else.

It would actually be for my VR4 with Evo ecu. I just saw the ICS as being an output that I wouldn't be using regularly.

@Mrfred

I am also had an request for an Separate Output.
I am working at an project, in detail an Paddle Up / Downshift for full seq dogboxes ( Hollinger E9 and Drenth 5speed ).
To get this working, i have to use an DBW Throttle Blade setup, but i want to use the Stock Ecu.
Reason is that i have to control the RPM by my Throttle Controller to get smooth Downshifts.
Upshifts are working fine with a simpe NLTS setup.
Only culprit is that i need the ISC Steps as an analog or PW Output to satisfy the stock Ecu.
Since the stock is an Stepper setup, there is no real absolute position i can capture from the stepper lines itself.

For our European Cars ( Evo 7-9 ) its possible to use the EGR Output ( which is PW ) to get an ISC Step as an PW signal.

Do you think that would be possible?
