It runs 93 octane, snow performance methanol with the 625 nozzle, STOCK block, stock head minus the 264/272 cams. Are you compensating for a small ***** by running your mouth? So I guess you get on all the other threads with dyno sheets of cars with STOCK turbo's making 400-425 whp, running your mouth to them too? The difference between alot of these cars is the tune, not the parts. This kit made 368 whp on 19 psi with NO methanol, NO cams, and the only other mods being the Trust exhaust, and XS Engineering intercooler. It was also on a Mustang Dyno. So how about you go try to talk big about yourself to your friends (which I doubt you have) and save the BS for people who care about it.
Lol, are you claiming to run meth then?

My ***** is very small and i like it that way. I know what a difference a tune can make but im calling BS on 500whp on 93 octane with a 30r @ 31 psi, now if your running meth then sure maybe but maybe you should be more specific and include a key detail next time aka 93 PLUS METH.

Btw my imaginary friend thinks your funny.

I swapped in some 1650 injectors and we ran out of gas around 33lbs. The injectors were at 110 duty cycle actually.

So I was told I should get a dual rail setup with 1000-1250 primary and 1650 secondary. WOW.

Anyways the car drives much better, it's so smooth and idles nice with the huge injectors.

Thanks Tobz! Thanks Mitch, Thanks Harvey for being a good steward.
Wow I would of expected better numbers. I'm doing 430 on 93, I should be in the 600 range if I was on E85. That's my next mod, can't wait!

WOW that some powerful gas to jump from 430 to 600. i mean just by adding e85 you jumping 170 whp forget the turbo running out and just blow hot air for get the fact that you have to be retuned for that. the gas alone puts results like that out there

If you would have read the first post of mine thoroughly you would have seen the methanol mentioned.

Maybe you should do some research before you make yourself look stupid. If you look, there is a thread started by TTP that has an evo9 running a 3076 kit making close to 500whp, no meth on... you guessed it.... 31psi.

Here it is: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ne-495whp.html

Running straight E85 is like running 100 octane if not better. I've seen it done at AMS. It's awesome, getting more horsepower from cheaper gas. The only downside is you'll be sucking up way more gas, plus you'll need a double pumper and a new fuel system.

not to mention like where I live there is 1, not a misprint ONE gas station within 100 miles that sells E85. If ever anything happens to my motor, and I get the 2.3 stroker and 40R, it will be tuned on my AEM EMS for E85, and methanol and Chris said to expect in the neighborhood of 700-800 awhp. I really like the benefits of the E85, but it's just not practical right now being as my Evo is my daily driver out of my 5 cars. I actually got more power than expected on my tune. I was looking for around 420-440 awhp and wound up getting 546 awhp and 504 ft. lbs of torque. But anyway the E85 is awesome and I have seen awesome number jumps from just switching over. Think about it, say a guy with a stock turbo is making 315 awhp on 20 psi, using 93 octane. Now using the EXACT same setup, switching over to E85 and getting it re-tuned he makes 400 awp. Now for about $2000 he just jumped up 85 hp. Most turbo upgrades that have the T3/T4 turbos cost almost twice this much for the same gains.

im sorry dude i just cant see a crazy jump of 180 hp off just some gas. now i know e85 does some crazy gains but 424 to 600 come one now. now i know alot more stuff goes into it bigger injectors double pumper retune etc but still if tht was the case people could theoritically get 500+ hp out the stock turbo with meth injection as well.

Yup, that's what I keep trying to tell everyone! That's my next upgrade, AEM EMS, a new fuel system to support running lots of E85, and a stroker kit. Good numbers by the way!

Those gains are feasible on some setups and how hard the orig. tune was being pushed. I couldn't find the specs on this particular car with a quick read thru the last few posts (so if I missed them, my bad). On a stock turbo you wouldn't see these kinds of gains, but if you think of them as a percentage gain, its not all that unreasonable given the right setup.

Think about a 35r car on pump gas. Maybe the car was running 22-25psi. Now, switch from 93 to E85 (summer blends are closer to 105 octane, but run cooler than gasoline), add the other required bits to run it (pumps, injectors, etc), advance the hell out of the timing, and dial in another 8-10psi and you're there.
