There are giant problems to keep the block together at that power level for drag racing but you seem to have no problems whatsoever to keep the engine together at 1500+ hp for street driving? How come?

He produces less or equal cylinder pressure than you do... he just does it at a higher rpm.

Hi Spyros,

Do you make any changes to the bearing sections of the Turbos? Any other changes than wheel upgrades?

What kind of improvements should we expect from your 11 blade wheel design compared to genuine GTX3582? Power? Spool?

Thanks

I will make next post for these t3 frame turbos.
Some guys here have already order some units.

Why does his car look so much less powerful then?

F = M X A

A = F / M

For F I substitute hp

Volvo 1300 / 2300 = 0.556

Mitsu 1456 / 3300 = 0.441

.556/ .441 = 1.26

1.26 X 6.85 = 8.63

With that power the Mitsu should be able to run in the 8:s.

Was it tested to 9.12 seconds on a drag strip with timing?

Erland

Its actually a 8.5sec car full interior. Read carefull my previus posts before write.
I dont want to repeat my self.
The car never start from standing so the 9.1 was the time 1/4 of haybusa 505whp turbo. We wanted to see acceleration and compare to busa turbo.
I remind u that its full street car as u might know with full stock interior with driver and co driver and slight uphill road. The total weight on the test was 3580lbs.

If u like numbers then calculate the real world numbers same road as we did the test.

Our evo ix 3580 weight 2ltr 1456hp (at the tests had ~1380hp)
The bike of the test was Haybusa 1300cc 680lbs weight Gt35 505whp (550hp crank) with excelent driver.

Real world times not sugestions shows:

Evo 1400hp
From 100kmh to cover 100meters had 2.52sec
From 100kmh to cover 200meters had 4.34sec
From 100kmh to cover 300meters had 5.89sec

Haybusa turbo 550hp
From 100kmh to cover 100meters had 2.54sec
From 100kmh to cover 200meters had 4.29sec
From 100kmh to cover 300meters had 5.78sec

The bike was 0.11sec faster than this evo. The bike had:
11.84sec to 0-300km/h.
0-1000m 16.23sec with 326.16 km/h

So if the car is so close to this bike u still think that this car is slow?
Also this car have 300hp more as was only 28-30psi at this test.

With just math u try to prove that the car is slow make it reverse to prove u that math are not the only way to calculate but time. Real world is few lines above.

Busa 550hp / 310kgr = 1.77 (the bike have 1.77 hp to move 1 kgr)
As the evo was too close to busa we take the ratio of the bike
Evo (?) hp / 1630kgr = 1.77 x 1630kgr = 2.885hp was the evo at these test with cold math.

Please read carefully next time. Real world is the time not math. Read and compare again Bike and car times.

If this car goes 8.5 being "fat" Then what kind of time is possible at higher boost with some reasonable weight deduction? Like only 1 driver and maybe some lighter seats. 7.99??

I think the 8.5 sec is an estimate. As far as I know there is no Evo, Subaru, Ford, Lancia faster than 8.8 sec in Greece yet. Not an estimate but actual timed pass at a strip.

And the 2300lbs Volvo does 0 to 322 km/h in 6.85 seconds in the real world.
Timed at a drag strip and shown in a video.

Street Volvos are pretty cool. This one runs all Mitsu Electronics, ECMlink V3, the same cam profile I run in my Evo, and one I tuned as well-
