CBRD new BBKB results
Ummm does everyone else know something I don't or is the buzz just dying down? My wife is pissed cause I won't stop talking about the B, even she wants it to be release already!
I think the hype is dying down for one, and two I think people are just accepting the fact it is going to be a while yet till these are released. I know I personally planned to get one when I thought they would be released this past spring. But now I figure I might as well just wait till spring of 2011. Till they are released and there is ample info and results out there it will be that long at this pace....

FP has also said a larger cover is needed to maximize efficiency and address low rpm surge for these higher output turbos. I wonder if Blouch will copy that analysis and solution as well - as Chad has said in the past Physics is Physics....
Cij: I find it interesting how Mike and Chad tossed the ball back and forth while dodging accountability with respect to your blown CBRD turbo. The turbo is a product of a joint venture between Blouch and CBRD. Yet neither one of the two companies was willing to step up to the plate and accept responsibility for the defective product. Just my $.02!
Maybe the development and introduction of the Blouch/CBRD oil feed kit is in deed their way of addressing the problem.

Could have never seen this coming! I think it is rediculous that on threads where the bashing of FP was going on it was allowed to stay while people defending FP's posts were deleted. It was never a bad idea to upgrade oil lines even on a STOCK turbo since it is known that the stock location is marginal at best. DSMers have been doing this for YEARS. Glad they finally figured it out.
Well that is interesting....Maybe that is why my BBK Full died - no special oil line.

am i missing something, did chad or anyone from cbrd or blouch actually say that the bbk full needs an upgraded oil line or even talk about it needing an upgraded line? just because you(cij911) bought a used turbo from someone and it had problems doesn't mean that the bbk full is a bad product or needs a new oil supply. there are over 300 units on the streets and like 6 reported failures, thats pretty ***in good. when is the last time you bought something used with a warranty, especially in this hobby? do you offer warranties when u sell used parts to people? you should stop being a baby about your situation and man up. stop spreading rumors, and keep this thread on topic. you and your friends have offered nothing in this thread but are just bashing on a product that is not even a topic of discussion. cij911 you already have your own thread about your issues with blouch and your turbo you should take your friends there and sulk in your misery. the mods should delete your posts in this thread they have no relevance or informative purpose.
the only thing i saw is a comment about the bbk-b which is in its testing phase, not even for sale, and thanks to cbrd the customer doesn't have to do the r&d for the turbo company. its the way it should be, they tested their product and then analyzed the results physically and numerically. based off their findings the have not released the product yet because it is not exceeding the industry standard. the fact that they are going to include the hardware with the bbk-b at very close to its original price is phenomenal.
