Very nice results. Time to take it to the track and see what it can do

What are using to controller boost? Do you have a HP wastegate actuator?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think you got it right the first time...at this power level a #8 range plug should be sufficient...gonna check the coils/wires just to make sure all is well too.

Thanks man, car feels pretty good
actually the meet was scheduled for May 1st but because carnival falls on the same Sunday they had to postpone it...apparently dancing in the streets is more enticing than drag racing
I'm using a hallman mbc, works very well...I also have the FP 18psi actuator..wga tuning is key to holding boost well.
So when you hitting the track? I should be in town this weekend for the easter.

Wow, On the 32PSI run I see 350 Foot Pounds to the wheels at 3700 RPM, that is great spool-up there. If you lost all that power going to a slightly bigger cover which should add power I am willing to bet boost leaks. I am sorry if this has already been answered but pump gas?

No this is a pump + Q16 mix...in Jamaica we only get a best of 90 octane.
I think the run you're looking at is my 4th gear run which I was asking if that looked like a clutch slip causing the tq to shoot up like that?
I haven't ruled out the possibility of a boost leak as yet, but I think for sure my plugs were gapped a little too wide for those 32psi pulls..gonna do a boost leak test tomorrow.

Okay so yesterday I had swapped out the plugs to a fresh set and gapped them to .021 and went out to do a few pulls with the remaining gas I had left in the tank.

The first graph is the exact same map/boost from the dyno that got me 502/408...VD results 478/390
I didn't bother to alter the weight or anything and just used that as the base.

After a couple pulls and some tweaking

4th gear pull after tweaking

So I know the car is definitely making more power now since the dyno

A slipping clutch wouldn’t do that, it looks far more strange, it literally does a loop. Torque would, could, and does shoot up like that with a spike, something that these stock-frame turbos are know for and give a huge advantage over the larger frame turbos.

Ok got ya, I'll go back and take another look at that log and see what the load/boost is doing there...iirc I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, just slightly higher load because of it being a 4th gear pull.

Try to tune in that spike, that's half the benefit of the Red and something that a Single scroll larger turbo can do.

I should have done a backup 4th gear pull to confirm that it was legit, maybe my mbc acted up on that pull, but time did not permit.
454tq is definitely out of my comfort zone on the stock block...+ I much prefer to try holding a flat boost curve vs a hard spike and taper off.

Offcourse it is! I wish I could see some half naked island gyal wine up and gwan bad lol

On to the car stuff I got some good news. I'm picking up a forge hp wga sometime this week from a friend of mine. I'm gonna preload the wg as much as possible hope i can see 30psi then I need to drop the tranny and fix 3rd gear then head up to PBIR to do some testing

just book a flight to come home for the weekend then
The upgraded actuator should get you a pretty nice boost curve when properly preloaded, but don't go overboard with it or you'll start to experience boost creep.
When do you see full boost by?

Yea I hope so too, if all goes well it should...
It sucks that they cancelled the meet though, now it's been pushed back well over a month...we might be arranging a tnt session with Windsor so I may get to run before the official meet.
