Yea he would definitely be in the 8's by now.
I had posted a couple videos I got from some spectators but I took them down because they were cut off so short and didn't look that great...here they are

You take your car to the track too?

Yea 420hp should definitely get you comfortably mid to low 11's...what track do you go to?

There are a few good shops around but I would say the best is SpeedShop (Lueboyz Racing)

PBIR. I would be happy with a 11.5-11.6 pass

So I finally got back on the dyno last night, I'm pretty happy with the results but I feel like there are a couple gremlins I need to identify and get sorted out.
The only changes made were the addition of the 84mm cover and a set of PTE1k's.
My very first pull got me 410/324 @26psi vs 443/345 at the same boost when I was on the 64 cover
I was going to take the car off as I figured something must be off, but I had been waiting 2 days now to get some dyno time (big circuit event coming up), plus maybe this was to be expected from switching to the bigger cover...so since I already had the car strapped up I decided to spend an hour with it and see where I ended up.

@32psi 3rd gear

@32psi 4th gear (clutch slipped??)

28psi(old) vs 32psi(new)

There's definitely a lot more left in it but I decided not to push it anymore until I did a few a checks to satisfy myself.

Okay I pulled the plugs and put in a fresh set just in case they were one of the culprits...I'm no professional at reading plugs, how do they look?

What did you gap the plugs too?

My plugs looked the same when I replaced them since I was having misfire issues. Changing the plugs fixed the misfire though. Gapped to .022 on 93oct

I believe I had that set gapped to .023 (90oct + meth)
Gonna close up the gap on this new set to .21 and see if that makes a difference..

The plugs look pretty good. There doesn't appear to be any signs of detonation which is a good thing. The second plug in looks like it might be running a little bit leaner than the others, but nothing I would be to worried about.

What is the heat rating of these plugs? How many miles were on them when you pulled them out?

They are #8 heat range plugs...had approx 3k on them..I think I should have gapped them a bit closer for the dyno session.
I had a little gas left in the tank so I threw in a fresh set of plugs this evening gapped to .021 and did some fine tuning on the rd...definitely making more power than lastnight...I'll post up the VD graphs in a few.

^Good to hear it's running better with them gapped tighter. At that power level it's not really required, but I would maybe look into changing to a 9 heat rating plug.
