Best of luck to you when you go out next. A 1.60 60' with no boost is a pretty good 60'.

99.5mph 1/8th was going to be a 123-124 in the 1/4 normally. Cars that pick up really good on the back end can add 30mph but 25-26 is common.

Car looks great man, good luck next time at the track, I'm sure you will get that 10 sec. slip! So with an 8500 rev limiter you won't have to shift to 5th, correct? What is your trans setup? I am rocking a 6 spd... & my rev limiter is 8250-8300 & anything over 123mph I have to shift to 5th... I have no choice but to shift to 5th now...

YEA this time i had the street wheels one and now it seems the 2step was to low (5800) best 60' only being 1.9 lol only got 3 passes the track wasnt prepped and the event was a joke...

but however w/ the raised rev limiter i saw my best pass of

11.9@128
w/ a 1.9 60' lol the car came alive after the 1/8th so raised the 2step to 6250 to see if i can get used to the new clutch adjustments and try again lol the car has a 10sec pass in it i know it!

Am I missing something here? The car puts down 700+ awhp, and is trapping 120-123 tops? Didn't the Bad Bish trap at 140+ with similair power levels / setup?

The driver is everything when comes down the 1/4 mile. The Bad Bish new how to drive, it take's alot of practice. I have seen Bad Bish driving buy other people and was far slower then Bish! I'm sure with time this car will be a beast and reach it's goals, keep the good work up and keep practicing! I'm sure soon you will hit your goal's.

Shouldnt this be a mid to high 130+ car???

Are you hitting the rev limit and coasting again to hit 128mph?

Ageed, the only other thing I can think is that there may be something skewing the VDR results. Most of my VDR pulls result in ~700-720 whp and I trap between 139-142mph on average.

That's what I'm saying...this sounds like the setup is on par to be a ~700ish setup, but the traps are of a 400-450ish car. Not making any sense here...good driver or bad, the trap speed should be there.

Interesting; in regards to the track times, even in the 1/8 mile time where he's full throttling, the traps are only at ~99mph. A good wheel & tire setup should help improve the times as well as raising the rev limit to run it out in 4th gear. Good luck on the next track visit.

since when does 450whp trap 128mph with awd? the cars probably around 650 atm if you want to get accurate. it has a setup that's hard to ET quick.. takes lots of practice. its not exactly a small turbo.. this is a 1.06 AR hta86, so its gonna lag.

based on the trap it did with ET it should have a 10.5 in it with a good pass.

I don't think we're questioning the ET as that comes down to getting a good 60' and nailing your shifts. It's the MPH that doesn't line up with the VD numbers, even if you're spinning out of the hole and shifting halfway decent the MPH should be pretty consistent. On a ~650-700whp car I would imagine it should trap around 135mph. As long as the owner is happy that's all that matters

I think 135mph would be very low for a 650-700whp car...I would think the trap should be closer to 140ish. Obviously it is what it is, and I'm sure the car feels great, but there's something that's holding it back here...

I used to make 450 on a dyno jet and would trap 91mph in the 1/8th normally.
