full boost right around 4700 ish.. ya theres so much more in Brians car. we only have it at 12deg uptop.

also i gotta laugh how early he started the pull the graph looks odd. i just cleaned up some stuff on his sd tune so im sure hes very happy right now with his car.

Here is some data from my latest run on E85.

Mods:
2006 EVO9 SE
Perrin Filter (stock tube)
MAP EF2 (unported) w/HP WGA
FIC 1050cc injectors
Muse LICP
ETS 3.5" FMIC
HKS catless TBE

From the spark plugs to the clutch everything else is stock. I'm sure there is more power in the turbo but I'm not pushing it any harder outside of a dyno. If anyone has MIVEC secrets they can share please do so as that may be helpful as well. I'm simply using the JDM mivec map with my stock cams. I am very open to suggestions......

Is this with a stock, uncrushed metal DV, Jeff? Have you adjusted the WGA rod shorter yet to see whether or not increasing WG spring pressure and crushing the DV slightly will improve turbo response and thus fatten the power band in the midrange?

This is with a stock uncrushed metal DV and as for the actuator... I removed the tightening nut and cranked down the actuator adjustment to a little over one eyelet of preload. It took a good yank to seat the rod.

I have verified no boost leaks and solid compression. I even fixed my TB seals to ensure I was leak free to 26psi but after that my boost leak tester blows off the turbo LOL! I'm sure my DV is leaking at high PSI.

I took a log yesterday but it doesn't look right its really flat but I started at 3k this time and its really really flat but I did make alot more power as Tom said I would for not starting so low.

This is unofficial, and it was just me dinking around in the car. Tom don't be mad at me posting this because you havent seen it yet. I was in throttle and tring to avoid deer while doing a pull hahaha. There was no changes to the car, and was the same tune and everything as the origional pull only I started at 3k instead of 2k. I will get another one that will be better but I wanted to take a log that had a boost plot. Obviously the graph is pretty ugly but like I said I was just playing around with the car and made 1 pull to see if I could get a better plot.

I found a much better log with the graph on it this one seems more realistic.

You might try adding either one and a half, to two complete rotations of preload to the WGA. Also, it is a given that your stock uncrushed DV is starting to lift off its seat at 12-15 PSI. These two things combined together can really impact negatively on spool up and ultimately holdback midrange torque and power production by about 20-40 ft/lbs. Don't be afraid to slightly crush the DV. If you can indent the hat on the canister about 1/8"-3/16" that should be enough.

For indenting the top of the DV, find a socket that sits in about 1/4" radially from the outside edge of the canister. I think that it is a 16mm or thereabouts. Insert two slabs of wood on the vise jaws of your bench vise and center the socket on the hat and apply a little press. Pull the valve out and inspect it. You don't want to crush it too much. Just an 1/8".

I don't think the WG is opening during spool... the high pressure actuator is very tight .... If you look at the boost curve that is pure actuator as my WGDC has no effect on it.

I'll consider indenting the DV but it doesn't seem to leak during a BLT. I may just entertain an aftermarket solution.

As for more power, I'm sure cams, O2 housing, porting and professional tune would help.
