I believe that is the old MVS that bolts up to the O2 housing if I am not mistaken, my friend. Maybe the downpipe was not installed before the picture was taken. Interesting...

Unless I'm seeing something wrong, that external WG is completely replacing an O2 housing??

And what is 'the old MVS' ?

Its MAPs external WG downpipe, when used along with the standard Internal WG provides very Linear boost control on a stock frame turbo. Shame its quite hard to fit in there...

Great results! And there is a 3" exhaust tube under that wastegate somewhere, just a weird angle

Make sure you put some heat wrap on your AC line, otherwise it will melt through if you pisspound the car.

You'll notice that he still has his internal wga hooked up as well to maintain the twin scroll effect

Correct. IWG (25lb actuator) runs direct to boost source and EWG to 3-port controller (GrimSpeed). Full boost by 4100-4200 (on 2.3 liter) with very linear control up top. Maybe a bit of an overkill but definitely worth 25-30whp up top.

Quick update.. .I have about 3k on my build now and this turbo is the shiz.. yeah it spools a little late (most larger turbos do) but once it hits look out! It sounds killer as well!

Well done MAP.
