Seeing what your car made the other day in your thread on just 19 lbs thats way above and beyond what my car makes. But then again your on a 2.4 which helps alot. That things gonna be a monster

 

how is the spool up changed ? what rpm max boost in 3rd gear with black and now with the EF4 ? thanks !

 

The black did spool up around 100-120RPM sooner but the EF4 pulls harder from about 5k all the way to redline on my setup. So 25lbs around 3900 with the black (JB) and about 4020 with the EF4. This is on a 2.3 liter.

 

Damn I cannot wait to purchase an EF3 from MAP

 

I have a BR2.0LR at STM being assembled right now, I think I want to try out the EF4 on it sometime before the Shootout. I like trying different things and it seems like it would make good power. If it made 550+ on a Mustang dyno that'd be sickkkkkkk.

 

I got mine yesterday. Its a badass turbo. Here are pics I took to compare to my stock evo8 turbo.

right under 2 weeks. that was even me specifying im not in a hurry because i still have to crate up my block to send out to MAP for the 2.3 treatment.

 

thanks that is sound great ! How you feel the respons between the 2 turbo at 5000rpm and over when you step back to throttle ?

 

Transient response was slightly better with the black but not significant, which is expected off a bigger turbo. Still very daily driver friendly with stroker motors.

 

I agree. When I am around town, I forget that I even have such a large turbo. I do not regret my purchase.

 

Yep.. if your main concern is spoolup and response then you should be looking at a smaller turbo. If you want the biggest kick *** turbo in a stock frame then EF4 is your choice...

 

On another note, the EF4 sounds louder than the black esp during spoolup with the same intake pipe. That was the first thing I noticed when I switched turbos...
