Damn man that sucks!! I can tell you for sure, 100% that the shaft was not bent when it was here. Remember me telling you how Dan cleaned it out and such to make sure if there was any debris in it that it was washed out? We spun it and both of us were looking at it to just check out the turbo, it was not bent.

Was there any noticeable compressor surge going on?

Nope. It was crazy... The car was working great...I mean...fast... pimpin...

I have it on my go pro... where i'm on the back straight... WOT and then that metalic supercharger like whine starts happening... relized I got passed by a m3 and look to find no boost.

OK, the shafts bend sometimes from compressor surge, I was thinking maybe the by eliminating their BOV and using the Tial we may have had an issue.

I wish I had a complete Vband HTA3076 to overnight there! Just throw it on for the event. Do you think someone can replace or repair that unobtainable turbo?

Yes. I have a source on a 7670 and 8374. :-D

I'll have to double check on Monday but we're really talking at least a week before getting it. (Plus I have an email into Geoff to see if he has any ideas) ... i'm not sure yet. I'm curious on the differences between the hta3076 and the gtx3076 as well.

As for the event there is still a 75% chance we'll be there with a 35r kit. (not ideal... but it something to work with) I'll know for sure tomorrow afternoon... RRE is working their butts off to get it there...

Ugh that sucks... considering the bent shaft on the turbo in UK it certainly makes me wonder. The combination of unobtanium (tm), results not quite reaching expectations, turbo system weight, and reported failures make me wonder how well the EFR line is going to do when it finally arrives for those who don't have special hookups. Leet, I'm sure when the turbo was working the car most have been -insanely- fast. Even with your aero mods, your car has got to be a real handful to drive.

Nope not at all. After the second session, I was quite comfortable and increasing in speed.. The robispec KW comps and LARGE sticky tires help out. By the second session I was actually quite comfortable. What i'm finding difficult is to narrow down the braking zones... I need to trust the AP Brakes more... but that comes with seat time.

You'll get used to it and will be getting faster event after event! This whole turbo situation now has me going really bad!

HTA3076 vs GTX3076 vs EFR76/70 What a dilemma! lol

I want to be the guy tuning that car. If you can get a replacement turbo that is ideal. If you can get anything else I can get the tune done via e-mail changes, I NEVER do this but in your case I will, I'd need you to find a place to do some 3rd gear pulls and e-mail me logs. I will make the time to do this for you.

Ideally I won't have to buy one... but we'll wait and see. Eitherway that would be great. I'm puting a couple of options together and I'd like your input. As always, David thanks for all your help and support.

No complaints (which is saying a lot as I tend to ***** alot haha).... With a 500hp car it makes braking zones difficult to determine as I was saying in the early post. I don't know the average speed. Couple that with I'm out of practice and Obviously I'm taking it easy. Give me a few more track days on a reliable turbo setup. The setup on supension is spot on, no issues... Brakes worth great and its a matter of finding the correct threshold. There was no need to push the car as it was/maybe is going to another event next week that is more important.

So Geoff@fullrace is stepping up big time.

He's letting me take his 7670 off his personal evo as to make the race. I couldn't be happier. Its going to be a long next few days;however, Thanks to Geoff, RRE and Buschur... we're going to make this happen. I'm so greatful for all the help... its been so frustrating... but seriously these guys have bent over backwards to help us out. I'm so greatful.

Fullrace = FTW!
Buschur Racing = FTW!
RRE = FTW!
