Can't wait to see you hit that 140mph goal with a full weight car!
ok thought so. whats the most hp/tq you made on a 2L with the black and whats the highest you spin the engine out to?

ya definitely go ball bearing. i hope i can make that trap speed a reality. it may not be possible on full weight though.

You will most likely need a V5 and a tubular manifold.

best # was on dynojet 619 at 43psi, I think the tq. was somewhere around 540 that pull but he 'decommissioned' the dyno and I haven't been able to get a copy of the graph. That was with some comp280's. The setup I had before that I went 129mph with about 500 on that dyno.

exactly. a good tubular and a f1i or v5 and it will do that. i think it may do it still though on the QTP's.. so i will try without changing the setup first.

can you list your mods. im curious to see what intake mani and exh mani and other stuff you have. 619 on 2L is pretty good on a black.. lots of boost tho for sure. but it made very good torque also for a 2L.

wow, for being a thread started short of over a month ago, it provides a great wealth of technical, and hence, usable information.

TSCOMPUSA, you definitely take your EVOM updating seriously. You've taught me a lesson on 'selfless service.'

Happy Holidays!

parts list in the thread below- same everything except a few psi less boost, and a more aggressive cam profile on 101 degree day, Pure tuning mustang dyno made a much lower number, car feels like it pulled harder to redline. Hated to switch dynos but didn't have a choice since previous shop took theirs out

I didnt know you were in MI, i got a few very quick cars in MI. one running 138 on stock block.. he went to some dyno and only put down 497whp or something like that.. i dont know what they do to that dyno, but the 3rd gear was as long as a 4th gear pull. that cant be good on the drivetrain. (speed industry i believe).

Yep I know him, but we never discussed the trip to Speed Industry- I tried to rent their dyno first actually since they're closer but that didn't work out

They call the Speed Industries dyno the heartbreaker being it was one of the very first models of the mustang dyno that was out. It reads like 15% lower then a newer one.

I figured you would.. let me show you the video.. does this sound like a 3rd gear pull to you? this sounds insanely long for 3rd gear

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wMwbb_W6f0 <-- longest 3rd gear pull in the world..

the dyno must be loaded to hell and back.

from what i read its about 18% lower. which makes it about 6% lower then the standard newer mustang these days.
