BR's highest HP stock ECU EVO
Awesome stock ecu numbers. Can't wait til David works his magic on my evo. My car is being shipped up to his shop. Getting a rebuild on my 2.4 and getting other goodies for my car. (6466 kit, 2150cc, and new clutch)Plus a Buschur tune. Maybe my car will be the highest stock ecu tune on buschur's dyno?
It made slightly more power with a bit less boost with the AEM vs the chart posted. I cant remember exactly what it made, I think it was 711@37psi.
I tried to get a run in on MAP's dynojet while I was on vacation, but, the rubber reducer for the boost gauge split and the FPR wasn't getting the right boost reference which made it a tad lean and the run was aborted. They didn't have one handy and that was my only chance to get a run in as I had to run to the autoparts store and spend $2 on a pack of like 5.
It was at ~790whp at around 6800rpm when the run stopped, IIRC.
A couple of days later I was at MAP's Proving Grounds.
I did a 10.8 on a lazy shake down run at MAP's proving grounds in june. I was trying to not get booted from the track and just wanted a half-assed qualifying run, it's only NHRA legal to 11.50 afterall. If I was going to get booted I was going to have it happen during the eliminations on Sunday. The next run after that one of the hoses that holds one of the pumps to the hanger let go, it went lean and lifted the head. I didn't know that was exactly what happened at the time, I probably could have pulled the hanger, got a chunk of e-85 submersible hose, fixed it and ran on Sunday in hind sight. I was there for my own amusement anyway, the cutoff for the street class was a 62mm turbo, the 6466 put me in the same class as Boosted's Red Demon along with a few other dedicated drag cars.
The Auto-X was a blast on the Friday before that happened, for some reason, the tech guys thought it was amusing-entering the Auto-X with such a big turbo. It didn't feel bad at all on the course. I was signed up for TTS, which was the same sort of thing as Buschur's Max Effort at the shootout.
I should have just bought one of the Buschur dual pump setups from the beginning. Keeping the BlaqOps one(which failed) cost me a few days of down time during my precious few days of R&R.
Since David now has the auto setup sorted, if it holds together I'm likely have my car back at his shop(or at least try to) for one-along with one of their fuel pump setups and probably a bigger fuel feed line to see if it adds some breathing room. I'll be back from AFG in January and the first thing I' going to be at is TX2k in March. And maybe a full-attack tune to run for the late night shens involved with tx2k...
Oh, and the M&H drag radials are awesome.
My last 2 Auto-X runs, I didn't think it was too bad for 3 days of seat time after not having driven the Buschur setup or a car at all in 6 months.
