LR 2.4 is for sure a really good choice.. the 2.4 in general runs much smoother then the 2.3's. the engines are more thoroughly balanced.

I am getting more and more comfortable with being in that +8K RPM range. What springs do you have, Tom?

You guys are making me wish I went the 2.4 LR route instead of the 2.3...

OK. I believe you are right, Tom.

I do not know if the race head I presently have was aggressively ported. I have a few pennies saved and I am thinking about getting the MAP Stage 3 head as I believe it will greatly assist in the "breathing" category.

Tom has the 2.3L and it is a beast. 8,500 RPM is no joke with 2.3L and should be more than enough for nearly everyone, my friend.

How much vacuum are you getting at idle with these S2 cams? Just curious...

the new walbro400(revised) is under $200

I am not sure where you are getting that, my friend, but you have to keep in mind the "options" that you would need to take into account. The Walbro 400lph E85 fuel pump is over $300 once you add the "options" to the equation.

That's the reason why I went with the standard 400. I think I paid about $160 with a re-wire and install kit when STM had their sale.

Nice power. Stock trans? Do you know the actual percentage of ethanol in your E85? Was this tuning done on the first tank of E85 that typically has 1-2 gallons of pump gas mixed with it? Someone asked what your IDC was at peak power, but I didn't see it posted. Could you post that?
