I am considering doing one of these setup's. I wonder how a maxxed out HTA DBB Green on a high compression 2.4 would work? My 6262 is pretty sweet at 570 and that seems to be enough power so if a Green could make that power with a better powerband I might switch.

Not sure about a green, I think Curt Brown did it. I was going to try to do 550+ whp with a 2.4, CB head, R2's, magnus v5 and a Red with E85.

We did 530 on Luke's car with a 9.7:1 SR2.4L. It was a stock intake manifold, megan O2 housing, some S3s GSC donated for testing, and a Buschur exhaust with a second muffler added in. The project was about what was laying around the shop as far as parts that we would never sell. To be clear the BR exhaust works great and has been on the car since Luke bought it, I meant everything else.

I think with an O2 dump, ported head with big valves, a ULTRA ported intake manifold or easier a Magnus, the car would have done more on the Green.

I would think the better Manifold and turbine housing plus better boost control on my high compression 2.4 should be able to do it. However even a Black would spool better than the 6262 and make the power with ease and have the headroom if I wanted to make north of 600. I probably won't do it for a while though.

6262 is probably the worst spooling turbo on the market for its size. On a 2.0L VIII they are around 5700 or so which to me is really edging on 42R territory for 26-28psi. The 66mm variants are all incredibly faster spoooling but again no where near a Black as you pointed out.
