FP turbo and SS housing questions

Not sure if this is the correct area so if it needs to be moved I understand.I've got a few questions on the housing and would like some more feedback on the fp red.

Are there any other people that have performed a before and after on the housing?

I was able to find this so far.

How much does it change the exhaust note?

I imagine its 300-400 rpm difference in spool on the dyno, how much has street driving been effected on the green/red?

It seems like the red makes more torque lower(smaller turbo) then the black for the most part. It seems ( to me) that the red is great balance for a DD/trackcar/fun factor. People talk about the black making at lest 40 more hp but it doesn't seem to make the torque as well as the smaller turbo. The transient response is also much better on the red for around town driving from what I've read.
I've found a couple of examples where its an all star.

Track action on all of it.

That looks like a lot of fun even with the MHI housing.
I'm ok with using pump,E85 or C16 based on the activity.
BTW, The green gets an honorable mention but I'd like a slightly bigger turbo that is a little more flexible.

The lag compared to stock is noticeable as you can see from my dyno graph but once you get into boost it hits hard. The new ss housing is a lot of custom work it's not just a bolt on turbo anymore. My tuner had to custom fab the downpipe and it's all a really tight fit. Overall I love the turbo and the setup I have mid to high 500 won't be a problem once I build my block

for the stainless steel housing you might as well get a whole different setup because u will have to change your o2 housing and your downpipe, only "stock frame" thing you keep is the manifold...

MAP sells a downpipe that will bolt right up to the new hotside. I wouldnt change my whole setup based off having to buy a downpipe only. Id like to see some results but Id imagine top end is much better than it is with the MHI hotside. Plus EWG built right in and FP claims little to no loss in spool. When I went EWG off the o2 housing it roughly added 500rpms of lag to my Black. So for someone in my shoes this seems like a great option. More top end and less lag than my current setup. Win win if you ask me

What EWG off the o2 housing where you using? Was it the MAP one and did you ditch the internal WG or run both WG's together?

Yeah I am using the MAP Comp Gate 40, and yes I got rid of the IWGA. I knew it would sacrifice some spool but wasn't expecting it to be so much. That is why I really want to buy this new SS hotside from FP.

I just picked up the same setup but I'm going to try running the internal WG in line with the EWG like Map suggests and hopefully I wont lose to much spool up. Thanks for responding back.
