Is it just the zeros with the smoking issue or is it the zephyr as well?

It's the FP bb turbo, doesn't matter what size. But it's not really an issue. It is resolved with proper crankcase ventilation.

I'm also on a Red (HTA) and the only smoke issue it had on my stock engine was on thick 20/50 oil on track days if it idled too long. It was probably not draining oil well enough .
I still get a slight amount of oil film on the intercooler pipes but for how the turbo performs I'm ok with a light drawback.
I have a built 2.2 (on the tight side) and it doesn't have any issues with oil consumption, smoke, or crankcase pressure. I have a -10 line from the V/C and a 11" catchcan recirculated to the intake pipe. I also run the stock PCV system.

I also wouldn't say that... I have 0psi at all conditions and up to -0.7psi crankcase pressure at 20psi of boost. I still had a blue smoke until I put my ix turbo back on.

Well, hopefully they find something wrong (I guess lol). You shouldn't be having too much issue with those numbers for crank case pressure, that's for sure..

Finally got finished with my 2.4L long rod Evo IX build. Had the Zero on stock block and made 600 on 93 pump & water/meth @34psi. I'm running ID1300's and a single AEM 320lph so those will probably hold me back but I'm expecting 650-700 on 93 & water/meth.

What's the highest HP so far?
