Upgrading to a Zero from a JB Black, going to max it out and see no issue with making over 800.

Made 690 on the black

Made 755hp 560tq on the Zero on 44psi- Dynojet

Motor is 10.5.1 2.0

Recently did some mods to the Evo IX 2.4L long Rod FP Zero car my buddy Mohammed owns. Switched from a MAP Rev3 intake manifold that was also sent to Curt Brown for more porting and polishing with a larger TB flange welded on for a cast Magnus manifold. Also HKS 4.11 final drive.
Also a few other misc changes. Car made 835/650 before. The problem was too much torque way too soon and the car would destroy drivetrain parts at the track. With the changes the powerband has shifted to help eliminate that issue and should make a few more ponies up top. I'm thinking 850awhp and torque to be around the same but come in later in the powerband.

I'm also in the process of building mine as well. 2.4L long rod with 9:5.1 pistons, manley turbo tuff rods, Curt Brown head, GSC R2 cams, twin disc clutch, and a few other upgrades. I still plan on just running 93 pump gas with water/meth (VP methonal). Should net 650-700awhp as long as the pump or injectors don't run out. We'll see!

my customer who produced the graphs above with the fp black switched to a fp zero, so this will be a good comparison care between the two turbos as well.

His highest pull on the black was 707/652tq (46psi+ spike)

With the orange/lime curve the car went 135.70 in 1/4.

I'll share the comparison for the thread once its available with any other data requested.

This is the MHI twinscroll black not SS. The car will be of course using the new SS housing with the Zero, so numbers should be pretty nicely improved on the top end.

The customer I posted above we did some testing today at 85% content with pretty conservative values so far. Peak of 37psi and hold 36psi up top.

I will share the final numbers once we extract them, but for now this will be a little teaser result.

The vehicle has some things vibrating / downpipe hitting tcase that's triggering the knock sensor off, so I have postponed further tuning until these audible background noises are addressed so we can safely tune the vehicle to its true potential.

This vehicles running FiTronic, but right now we are locked in E85 mode only.

Its a Olsen 2.3L 10.5:1, FP Zero, 2150cc, Curt brown ported everything, 4.11 FD.

Looks like Tom limited it at 600tq. Was there a reason for this Tom?
