Ok guys i am running the new FP zero and am having an issue with it pushing oil out the center seal under boost .. i am running 32psi and making 623hp. I am running stock check valve and all the stock size pcv stuff .. anyone having this issue? Or is it bad seals? Turbo has about 200 miles on it

IIRC FP addressed this when people were having problems with the DBB stock frame turbos from FP. Long story short is even small amounts of positive crankcase pressure cause oil to be pushed. Do a Google search and I am sure you will find their write up. They set up a catch can system and it apparently solved the problem. Modding is a never ending battle it seems.

When was the last time you replaced the PCV valve? With a larger than stock frame turbo, especially the Zero you should be running a catch can setup to help release the crank case pressure. 32psi is a lot of boost to try and make work with the factory PCV system.

I am also running 32/33psi on my zero with no leaks and my buddy Mohammed is running 40-42psi on his with no issue.

Also, what is your setup? Good numbers BTW!

I replaced the PCV valve last year with new . I am running a catch can system but im using stock size off valve cover . I am also running stock oil return line, not sure if that would make a difference. . What are you running on yours so it does not have this issue? !
I am on BR 2.0 long rod

Buschur catch can setup, stock 2.0 Evo IX motor, GSC S2's, GSC valve springs, Kiggly HLA, Curt Brown ported intake manifold with 70mm S90tb, FP manifold ported by Curt Brown, ETS 3" IC with ETS short route piping, ID 1300's, Boomba fuel rail, MA Performance downpipe, i made my intake, Amsoil 4" filter.

My car is down on power and torque so trying to figure that out currently.

The return line has no effect on that. I too also tun the factory return line along with my buddies that have FP stock frame turbo's.

The Buschur catch can setup is pretty simple. I just use the one fitting that goes into the valve cover that STM sells and use a -6 AN push lock fitting with 3/8" silicone hose and silicone 3/8" hose going to the buschur catch can on the valve cover by the fuel rail with the fitting supplied with the buschur catch can setup.

Possibly I don't have an issue due to the tight clearance specs of a stock piston motor versus the looser clearances of a built motor. I assume you're running 20w-50 motor oil?

I have the -6AN STM fitting for sale, it might help your situation. If not, also get the -10AN fitting for the PCV side and get rid of the PCV valve. At this point, you probably just need more venting. Is your catchcan VTA or hooked up to the intake?

I originally got rid of the check valve and had that ran to my catch can but that caused to much crank case pressure at idle and was forcing oil out the center seal and burning it . Rehook it up and went away .. now its pushing oil out the center seal at boost .. going to try and run a biger return line and if that doesn't do anything im going to drill in another vent on the valve cover and put 2 -10.. its really odd i had no problems with my black and now have problems with the zero..
And yes i am running vr1 20w50

Do you have a Kiggly HLA on the head?

Vented dipstick tube (buschur & STM sell them) that ties into your catch can. With a -6 or 3/8 hose you should be fine. And a atmosphere relief catch can (filter or filters on top).

Your issue is you aren't allowing enough pressure relief so it is pushing out anyway it can. If you are pushing oil out if the new FP center cartridge you have a serious pressure issue. The new billet center cartridges are double ringed.
