TSComptuned Full Build - 2.3L CBRD BBK-3B GSC R2 FiTronic Flex program E64 & 93oct

We have just recently completed our good customer Anthony's Full Build. This vehicle is special, Because the owner is active Military & the vehicle visits Germany's famous Road course track.

(Thank you for your services Anthony!). This vehicle has been around the famous Nurburgring in Germany many times in the past, and will be going around it again with our build. When we received this car, it had an issue where it burned a lot of oil & had piston slap, so it needed machine work + new pistons and bearings. Along the way, we refreshed what we thought was necessary to extract a reliable build for our customers car.

After the build was completed, We thoroughly broke the engine in. We go through 3-4 oil changes & filters before the customer receives their car back. This assures the engine was properly flushed and is safe for long term use.

Temps during tuning were roughly around 40-45F.

93 octane was done with E9-10 mix.
E85 tune was done with E62-64 mix

If you're in the market for a very reliable tune and engine build package or want us to perform a full build on your car please contact us! We have 3 more builds being finished up and will be shared as well after this one. All with FiTronic!

We give a very good discount to all our military service members as well.

ENGINE:
TSComptuned 2.3L - manley/wiseco
Buschur Stage 3 Head
GSC R2 Cams
CBRD BBK "3B" Turbo
Invidia 3" Downpipe
Megan 3" Catless Exhaust
TSComptuned double pumper /w AEM 320 as secondary
FIC 1450cc injectors
GReddy Type-S BOV
Buschur BFIC 24x13x4.5
Custom Upper IC Piping
Buschur Lower IC Piping
Spoolin-Up COP
FiTronic Flex Fuel Program /w ecuboost (Grimmspeed 3 port)

Side notes: With a better BOV such as a tial Q, and a short route upper pipe to go along with it (Such as Muse), And Stronger wastegate actuator, (Car is using OEM), We would of been able to extract a lot more power out of this beast! We did what we could with the boost falling off hard, and still extracted a pretty solid result. The car spun 2nd hard, So the CBRD BBK 3B delivers a very nice kick downlow complimented by our 2.3L Engine.

R2 seem to slow spool
On near identical spec but S2 cams my Bbk-B spooled fully by 3600, if I remember correctly.

Nice results!! I too had Tom do my 2.3 build and our setups are very similar, except I run s3 cams and meth since I have no access to e85. Got to get Tom to touch up my tune and I think I'm battling some false knock. Good luck with your car ,sounds like a blast, that 3b and 2.3 make for some nice spool up!!!

Yep. I wish we could put your car on E85 with FiTronic

This is a BBK-BBB (3b) but yes, R2 will lag spool vs S2. S2 will lag spool vs S1 also. Just depends what you're willing to sacrifice.

I think the WG preload could have been tensioned more on this car also, but we had time constraints with car since the owner had to ship the car out of country for military duty.

Its been a year since I cruised the forums. Very nice result. I'm not too far from this on my 2.0 with MAF. Gives me hope for more power when I eventually delete MAF and restrictive intake.

BTW, I love my 3B. Excellent combination of early boost threshold, quick spool in the powerband, and great power.
