Evo IX - Built 2.0L Stock Turbo GSC S2 - FiTronic Flex Program 93 & E68

Darrell brought his Evo into our current shop for some maintenance and tuning.

(We are currently in the processing of moving into a much larger facility soon)

We performed the following:

Installed and tuned the FiTronic Flex fuel system
Ported the intake manifold and throttle body
Installed Grimmspeed 3 port /w mbc (2-stage hybrid)
Ran new vacuum lines where needed /w properly tensioned zip ties
Boost leak tested entire system multiple times
Repaired leaking throttle body shaft seals
Recalibrated out of calibration TPS sensor
Installed a new Walbro 255 pump and filter to replace old weak components
Replaced FIC injector insulator seals that were brittle/cracked

Mods:

Built 2.0L 10.5:1 manley h-beams / wiseco pistons
ID 1000cc injectors
Buschur 3inch exhaust
stock bov crushed
ETS 3.5" FMIC
Injen upper pipe
GSC S2 billet cams
Genuine HKS intake system
TSComptuned ported throttle body
TSComptuned ported intake manifold
TSComptuned modified fuel pump
FiTronic Flex Fuel /w 2-stage boost control

Cool story behind this car: I've been tuning it since 2011, and my previous customer
sold this car to the new owner, which has also became my customer.

Graph: (Temps were around 70-80F)

Oh this makes me sad. Glad Darrel is enjoying the built motor. Good power for stock turbo!

Interesting about throttle body seals, those should have all been replaced with STM's when it was rebuilt.

I need to get another one ASAP.

I wanted to keep it safe/conservative torque wise. H-beam rods are chinese made. Hit or miss. I put down over 600wtq through them before, but I want the car to be reliable for the customer, so i tuned it as if it was a stock block just to be safe for customer.

The cars very fast as is with or without the torque. It just is smoother without.
