Mixing E98 with C16 ?

Been reading about mixing E98 with C16 fuel for the ultimate blend ...been speaking with a few of my Australia brothers and they swear by this. What are your thought ?

It a great mix to extend the fuel system but the leaded fuel is a little harder on the 02 sensor. The extra octane is nice. So people have also mixed other fuels together and picked up 30-40whp on a N/A K series.

When I was limited to 1300 injectors I ran a mix of 50/50 E85 and C16 and the results were good.

Works very well. Since you're starting with E98, mix it 3:1 to get ~E73 and you'll have plenty of octane and ethanol to make all the power.

I would do 103 unleaded with E98 for better results

Better results? 103 octane LL is better than 116 octane leaded race fuel? Please try not to post if you don't know WTF you are talking about.

We use C16 and mix it to E80. Helps keep blow by down without losing octane. If you arent running 2000/2150s you can use Q16 as well.

^^what ratio of the C16 to E mixture you used ? Tried q16 with some ID's 1700cc ,PTE 6466 and maxed them out at 38psi with 820whp..was not too impressed with q16 . Been reading alot about the c16 and E98 mixture but never saw anyone over here tried it .

I have run anywhere from E50 to E80 depending on injector size and fuel pumps used. For instance I am currently running E80 in the car (80% ethanol, 20% C16) on Fuel Injector Clinic 2150s and dual 044s. I am 67% IDC at 35psi and a 12.0AFR.

820 on what amounts to a 1600cc injector is actually really good, the issue isnt the Q16 its the small injectors.

ok so basically any pros and cons of mixing fuel with the wide variety of fuel available ?
Does it make sense to run pure e98, e85 or mix it with c16 for better tuning , more power with less boost etc?
any dyno results?

Pros - It helps reduce blowby a little, adds some fuel system back over E98, higher octane than pump E85.

Cons- the cost of the racegas, sooner or later the lead will get the wideband.

It doesnt add power so no dyno sheets to show anything different.
