Stock block evo 8 FP54 pump gas

Mods are as follows:

Stock Block
FP Green FP54 ported with 18psi turbosmart
Port match exhaust manifold
Invidia O2 housing
Invidia downpipe
Meghan resonated pipe
Tomei TI catback
GSC S2 cams
GSC springs
Kiggly hla
Fic 950cc injectors
Injen intake and Uicp
ETS 3.5" intercooler
ETS Licp
Crushed IX diverter
Walbro 255
Grimmspeed 3 port
Omni 4bar map sensor
Tephra v7 (MAF + Ecuboost)

I was dealing with some low rpm/ spool up knock, which has since been sorted out, but that is why the run was started so late.

I am fairly happy with the way it turned out. But I believe it to be on the conservative side. From what I have seen, and what I would like; is a little more aggressive/more boost on spool up. ~34 lbs. and possibly some timing adjustments up top to get a little more up top

Looking to possibly go speed density in the spring and address these issues.

And I would definitely LOVE to go E85 with this setup..... But no Bueno.. Not a station for at least an hour+ away from me 😡

That should be a fun ride man.
Conservative is good in the end. These engines will live a long time when they aren't rattled .
Nothing lives well at high boost on pump gas. Pump gas is low boost and race gas/E85 is for high boost. If more people followed that rule of thumb they would save themselves alot of time/money IMO.

Its a shame E85 is so far for you. If you want to have some fun you could mix some race gas in and run it harder. Octane is cheap insurance if you want to make more power.

These engines historically don't require alot of timing . Putting more in as back pressure is increasing will reduce your safety net for knock.

Thanks, and understood. Like I said I don't want to go crazy with it, and I am fairly happy. I just believe a couple tweaks could get it to where I have in mind. (Considering I am limited on fuel.).

This is the graph I had in mind.

It is a stock block evo 8 with a hta green s1's and nearly identical modifications on 92 octane.

Here is a graph. And a link to the thread

Nice and clean!

glad to see some results from the FP54. On high octane that would be a beast especially for a street car.

That's a solid pump gas tune right there, I wouldn't touch it. I wouldn't even call that super conservative either. Doesn't look unsafe (28psi seems typical for good 93 octane), but probably not "conservative".

Speed density, and an O2 dump, may free up another 10-20whp.
