Race mode would be without the front passenger seat, rear seats out, and 15" slip streams on which is another 130lbs off the car.

Car has all luxuries with power everything including oem sunroof minus A/C. Has 100% full interior panels also

Update, i took my daily driver on the scale again because I took a tiny bit of weight out of it and i'm still skeptical about what it said my black car was... It said my daily was 3200lbs with my friend and I in the car.. definitely not possible.

Since 2720 i'm sure is too low, i'm going to find a cat scale to get it weighed at..

Very light DD lol jk

I'm skeptical about truck stations as well because I know my evo wasn't weighing 3200 with me in it... I have way more weight reduction than that.

I only use one cat scale, just like a dyno I just use it as a tool to see improvement. They are certified but I don't know down to what decimal they are allowed to be off. My car last year should have been in the 2750 range w/o me race weight. I'm hoping to maintain that even while adding 100lbs of safety equipment.

My friend works at a shop that has a nice corner scale setup, so I am going to go that route which I know is pretty accurate

Good luck, would like to see what is the difference if any.

I want to invest in some scales, but they are costly.

Yeah, dont use truck scales or anything thing like that. Use real scales like the ones used for corner balancing. Thats what I use.

Lucky! Im hoping to find someone local that I can barrow a set of scales to set the car up for this spring and get an accurate reading on final weight.

Anyone have a good recommendations on spot weld drill bit sets? Dan said he got a 3 piece set off ebay, I've seen a couple on there. All the 3 piece sets seem to be around $20 on ebay...

This Cobalt set looks nice...

I bought something similar to that and had a hard time keeping the bit in one place. It had a pointed tip that was supposed to help keep it in place but that didn't help. FYI I was removing brackets in the trunk.

Have you had that issue?

The bit I had had a center guide as well. Maybe I was pressing down too hard? Do you use WD-40 or any other lubricant?
