Greddy TT Install? Help!!!!

So I got my Greddy Turbo Timer in today and of course the manual is in Japanese. I found the English PDF version and it looks pretty straight forward. I have the optional harness which makes this mostly idiot proof. The wires that I'm wondering about are the Purple/Brown wires (Parking/Speed Harness), for the Purple wire it says that not all vehicles have a speed signal wire to connect. Even if the Evo had one I would have to find it on the ECU Harness, as for the Brown wire it's basically listed as another feature which I'm not sure I need to use. I went through the "How To's" and checked Stickies but could not find what I was looking for. Please help!!!

Under the How-to section is a great place to start. There are plenty of threads that show where all the wires need to go. I used it 2 days ago to do mine and again today to install my sending units!

Is it the parking brake switch?

You dont need to hook up the speed wire. As for the parking one, some cars need it hooked up to work. It just makes sure the car is in park, or the parking break is set. Just hook it up without this wire attached. If the the TT doesn't work then, hook the parking wire to a ground and there you go.

you hook this wire (brown) to the parking brake wire. When this wire changes voltage, the timer will turn the car off, and shut down. (installed more TTs, than I care to remember)
