No fuel is better then a little fuel. If you have no spark you will get a misfire but nothing should happen. If you have 22psi in a cylinder and there is no fuel nothing will happen. Dont forget when you have 22psi in a cylinder and it fires correctly all of the air gets out, right? you should be fine and i doubt the wire would break.

 

I just got mine done and yes they tapped the injector wire as well. As long as you dont rip the tap off you should be fine.
