The reason I asked, cuz you describe positive trigger locks and evos are negative triggered locks. I found both of my lock/unlock wires in the same plug. They weren't together in that plug, but they both were there. IIRC one of them was the bottom middle wire and the other was somewhere towards the top of the plug (actually looking at the plug}. I'm pretty sure they're in the white plug towards the floor that clips to something else. It popped off the clip fairly easily.

Has it ever worked?

No it's not one wire. The unlock wire is a light green color and the lock wire is yellow in my car. They are in the same plug. You definitely don't need diodes.

yup it is the white plug. I'll try that, light green unlock. I know that my door connection is working since if I try to arm it and my door is open, it will show in the remote's screen=door open.

Sounds like you tagged a motor wire instead of a switch wire.

I can't remember the wire color of hand, but both wires should rest a 12 volts using a DVM and switch to zero when you hit the switch. Do this at your own risk, you can use a regular test light to probe the wire and when you find the right one, it will lock or unlock depending on the wire your tagging. There is not a whole lot of CAN data going on in an Evo in the doors so you should be OK.

As for DLS, I get what your saying. But I alwyas use a relay over a diode if i can. I feel you about wiring extra relays, I hate it too, but I know they work.

What i wrote above about interupting will work for you too, just need the relay and 4 wires. Git R done!

Actually you should be able to do it with one relay. I haven't thought it completely through so everything may not work. 85 = 12v; 86 = DLS; 30 = car door trigger from plug; 87 = car door trigger away from plug; 87a = ground. Connect alarm door trigger wire downstream of 87 and when DLS activates it will switch 30 to ground (87a) controlling the domelight while still protecting doors and the alarm won't see a false door opening.

30 and 87a is the closed part so you would be grounding your door trigger while resting. But you can do it with one relay

87 - ground
87a - door trigger to alarm side
85 - 12volt
86 - DLS
30 - door trigger/car side

While resting it will provide protection for the door circuit. When disarmed, the relay will open the door circuit to the alarm, relay will close 87 and 30 and ground the door circuit to turn on the interior lamp

Just purchased the Compustar 2W900FM-AS and I am going to attempt the install during the next couple of weeks. I will write down any useful information I determine during the install.
