not worth the $300 difference between the 12 and 13 W7s in my opinion but louder obviously it moves more air. The TW5 is musically the equilent to a W3V3 (according to our JL rep) obviously they aren't shipping yet because why would they, but they're also supposed to come in at a price tag of 350-400 for the 12" and 400-450 for the 13" no 10" yet. Really they're more of an application sub, i dont see people going out of their way to get them for anyother reason than they are shallow.

All those answers should be properly caveated. In other words, questions such as "what is your budget?" and "do you want clean or loud?" should then be followed by an answer. Always go somewhere that they have the subs side-by-side with different amps / HUs so you can bring your own music and listen to the different combos.

If you dont mind weight the w7 is a great choice. You would need a good 1000 watt amp to power it. We have a blowout price on a 13w7d15 new in box for $580.10 if anyone local to chicago is looking for one. See sig for details.

So you're stating that two 10" w6v2's will hit harder than two 13" w7's/
Right....
Regarding the crisp sound, the problem is that most people don't reinforce the mid-bass enough to compensate for the increased bass output of the w7's.
On a properly balanced system, the W7 outperform the w6's

lol hell no..... i'd get into a cyber fight with myself if i said that....
I think two 10's would sound better, clearer and just as loud (or very close) as one 13"
Cheers!

My suggestion is go with a 10w7 with the 500/1v2 with a sealed box. Sealed boxes keeps the bass in your car and gives you a much nicer thump feel inside the car. Also it keeps the outside noise to a minimum, unless you want people to hear you coming.
My thing is I like to hear my bass in the car not outside the car, but it's totally up to you, I know the w7s sound good in a ported or sealed box.

Why in the hell would you want bass on the outside? Do you want to be harrassed by cops or just show off like a dumbass. you only listen to music when you are in the car. I have 2 - 12W6's in mine and they hit and sounds good out side if you standing at the window
