I had a hard time finding an alarm too. It resulted in finding the right shop.

1. Shops can not legally install the remote start on a 5speed, but if you can do it yourself or find someone that is an option.

I did not want to risk forgetting it was in gear before I started it. I like putting it in gear anyway instead of relying on the ebrake.

2. I found a shop locally that would install it with a Viper alarm (I think model 5500) that has remote start, but not installed. I think they used relays to allow the turbo timer to shut off and then the alarm would arm itself.

It has been a really nice not having to shut it off manually.

I put both my cars into gear and not use the handbrake. I probably would forget sometime. still, worth changing my habit!
