I would go HKS kit or Apexi rx6 kit, race proven results and dyno proven. the fastest evos use hks and apexi... thats more than enough to convince me.

Im sure those are nice turbos if you have the money, I cant imagine paying close to 6k for a turbo. BTW I notice HKS turbos come with a manifold shield or cover. Whats the purpose of those, is it for safety purpose or blocks off heat to help performance?

Why does it seem that EVERY post reply you make has to do with defending your ATP kit? Give it up. If you like it, fine. If you make good power, thats great, we're all happy for you. BUt please ease up with the praising for ATP. The hard core facts are that everyone knows that the best kit available is made by AMS. Vishnu thinks so, Buschur knows so, and the fastest Evos are witness to this. Sure any company can make a kit that is great for the money, like ATP, but the true efficiency is not number one on ATP's list. It bolts up, but its very much a quick fix, and not the best way to go. If anything I feel that for the money RNR is better. I however feel and can atest to AMS having the best turbo combo out there. Their GT35r is simply the best one out there, barnone. By the way, how old are you? because you seem to be pretty young.

QUOTE FROM DELETED POST REMOVED.

Then we can POSSIBLY end the debate of which is the best kit.
I'm willing to represent AMS on the West Coast.
(Once my standalone is installed and tuned that is)

eh I am only 25 .. superz, please read my posts and you will realize that AMS is the winner for sure (I have said that). I am not defending ATP kit I am saying the truth. Alex (as you see in the begging of the thread) is spreading lies and rumors based on no facts. I had to chim in because his posts are un-true. I have seen and drove the AMS kit and the ATP so I am writing here from experience unlike Alex.

They actually do, esp. going from 91 to c16 on the gt35.
I never dynoed on 91, but am predicting about 330-350whp.
On 100oct. the car did 410-420, but on c16 460-473whp.

It seems the bigger the turbo, the bigger the difference in whp going from pump to racegas.
An example of that is Smogrunner's car w/ a 10.5T(relatively small)
It did 303whp-pretty impressive- on 91, but only 333whp on c16.

FYI

I would love to see this kind of shootout.. Everyone is so hung up on dyno numbers, dyno are not bragging tools, rather tuning tools, there are too many variables..

I would like to see equally modded cars at stock weight go at it..

No. At about 5000 rpm. I have a 2.3 stroker that helps spool up. Dyno sheets have been posted before if you're intersted.

hey ams... the 550 hp 3071 number you guys advertise is that to the flywheel or to the ground? and if it's to the ground that is a c16 number yeah? so how much on 110?

is this the ultimate potential of the turbo kit? with maximum supporting mods... or is this right after bolt on.

Which dyno are you referring to when you say 330-350whp? My car feels at about 360-370whp on a dynojet, but I have stock cams. With cams I should be able to be around 400whp as I thought originally. Will get dynoed on Friday.

I have just done a AMS GT35R kit on a 2.227lt engine on 102ron fuel 636hp 568ftlb atf on a engine dyno at 2.4bar boost, Just started driving it on road at 2.500rpm touch the accel peddle .5bar there instant fantastic driveabiltly, just need to bed RPS clutch in so I can start testing it, The RPS carbon drives like a stock clutch even the Wife can drive the car, SO Far I am Very happy with both.
