I get the tick as well. I also hear my injectors, too.

i wonder howmany ar mistaking injector noise for lifter noise. i know what a injector sounds like and i know what a loud lifter sounds like all 3 of my 4g63's have a little lifter noise but it wouldnt me a 4g63 with out it, so stop worrying and beat the snot out of if like you know it wants you too.

i think the ticking is pretty much a DSM motor thing. My wife's 3000gt did it really bad and never had a lick of trouble and it had almost 100,000 on it.
