...I pretty much got my answer. I wanted to know if it was heavier than a VR4 tranny (which can easily be stabbed on jack stands). I'll used my engine hoist and muscle to do my install in my home garage.

i honestly did not feel that the tranny was that heavy, with two people kinda guiding it around, it wasnt that heavy.

Zeus.. the dealer's shop tech that did my clutch is about 6'1" 210. He seemed about the right size to handle the job. As you know it's all about how you hold your face as you work to align the splines. BTW What did you decide to go with for a complete package and what influenced you the most? My wife of 35 yr.s paid for mine since she disliked the feel on the stock unit just as she did on the 3g Eclipse GT that my Evo replaced. Her take on the ACT is that is was worth it (she is a Vette girl and still has her cycle liscense).
