the Alc/H20 injection is not a risky venture... theres a boost activated switch say set @ 18psi that will spray in the mix... Alot more reliable and very safe... takes most of the heat out of the burning process.. With a bigger Turbo i hear daves seen close to 90whp gians...

Is the Injecton on the Stg 4 an alky? If not, would it be better to get an alky?

Damn you sure are a jerk. I can't wait for June.

Yes, you did question our quality and design by eloquently stating that cam gears "suck" and come loose. Judging by the context of this thread, I assume these astute comments also apply to our own cam gears (which we have made for us to our spec, btw). See the logic here Dave? Hence, my reply to you.

So you call me a "jerk"?

Most problems that people have with either setup are due to poor installation and/or working with only a through-the-mail tuning solution.

Ditto,

I have a Buschur stage 4 car and i couldn't be happier. I have spent some money in all types of parts while swapping out. I tried them all Injen, HKS, Dejon, etc.. At the end i went with Buschur parts. My engine bay looks beautiful and performs like its on steroids .

The riskiness of alky relates to what happens when something goes wrong with the system and you have a tune that is so aggressive that the ECU can't pull enough timing quick enough to stop detonation when the alky falters.

What is more risky In ur opinion; Alky injection or camgears? What will likely have a higher chance of mechanical failure? IE was just pointing out that Cam gears are safer than a product that Buschur endorses and he is right. That would be like me smoking two packs of Cigerettes a day and saying no thanks to pork because it is not healthy. Lookin at difference between consistency and contradiction.

A man keepin it real. Ding Ding u are dead on. IMO much more likely of a failure vs. Cam gears. Where is the empiracal evidence of Cam gear failures. All the Vishnu cars that I have seen and I have never heard of such a failure.

We have 3 stage 1+ cars in my area, all daily drivers making good power. I've seen Shiv tune conservatively for a good all around tune, instead of just for numbers. I like that, so rookies like me don't blow the **** up. As far as customer service the Vishnu guys have always been great to anwser questions and help out when they can, and I'm no where close to Cali. Luckily for us Shiv does fly around spreading his wealth for us folks not close to the shop, and is a down to earth guy I enjoyed talking with.
