Installed APS BOV... Almost stalling/Revs drop in 1st gear

OK. I installed APS BOV a week or so ago and just starting to notice that when in traffic and just starting to move in first gear, RPM drop to almost stalling. This happens when I start to move and then let go of the gas and move to neutral, releasing the cluch, then RPM start to drop below the usual 850-950 to almost stalling and then back up to normal 850-950. Any ideas/suggections????

DO you have it hooked up in the right direction? Most aftermarket bov's cause the car to do this. If u have an intake it supposably makes it worse. Most people say they have had the best luck with aps with no idle issues.

I have never read of anyone having an issue with the APS BOV. Mine is perfect.

Recheck your install, make sure all clamps are tight, the vac source is clean, and leave about a 1/4 of an inch of the adjustment screw out of the BOV, then tighten down the lock nut nice and tight.

The only time we have heard of this problem happening is when the adjustment nut and screw have become loose and have fallen out. Check those and i bet that is your problem.

Ben, Thanks. I checked the adjustment nut was a little loose. I tightened it and it seem to fix the issue. The car runs better. Also, thanks for hooking me up with the APS BOV and Evo7 tails and fast shippend and great customer service.
