didn't mean to confuse you.
good luck
Yeah I read that one, its good its actually what I am basing my install off of now. I think Everything should go fine. It really isnt a hard install once you locate what you need. I will finalize this later tonight by posting a success story

You need an adaptor that is 3/8 PT MALE to 1/8 PT FEMALE. The Defi BF's are most definitely PT. Brass is fine since the pressure is relatively low.

and PT = BSPT

You can install the sender without draining oil, only a small amount will pour out.

thanks, actually i just finished the install. i ordered the 3/8" to 1/8" adapter for the oil temp gauge from 42DD and used the bung by the oil filter, then i replaced the factory oil pressure sensor with the defi one since it's already 1/8" PT.

for people that replace the factory oil pressure sensor, make sure you have a long 1" wrench to take the factory sensor off. i had to remove the battery, front strut bar, and upper IC pipe to get at it.

also, it wasn't mentioned here, but i've hear of potholes ripping the oil filter assembly off after people lowered it by using the greddy adaptor... that's why i didn't go that route.
