I'll go one to say that it is a got damn shame the crap that has be spewed over this... One of the reasons I can't ever be a mod... I'd cost Mark too much money!

Sorry for the continued off topic discussion. I'd be happy to keep it in PM's where it belongs.

Seriously, it becomes like chimpanzees throwing crap all over at the drop of a hat, and we quickly have a perfectly fine thread turn into a steaming pile of you-kknow-what.

If people want to Tym to become a vendor, fine. Tym in the very near future, you will have my business (cams).

If people knock David over the "21G," they're either stupid or ignorant of his proven track record.

I, for one, am wholeheartedly excited about my WR. I purchased it because of Zeus' recommendation and FP's reputation. This is a great turbo for me. Someone else may believe differently.

to this turbo

to the garbage in this thread

However, since others have apparently felt the need to complain to the EvoM staff regarding my status, I am now forced to become a registered "vendor." Now that I must do this in order to keep those complaining from causing unnecessary grief, I will be forced to advertise and attempt to take full advantage of everything the forums have to offer my business. I hope that all of you understand clearly that I have only in the past ever tried to post to this forum when I had something useful to contribute to the community. I will do my best to keep it that way in the future.

Getting back to the thread, I look forward to hearing impressions from those recieving their turbos shortly... from wherever they may have purchased them.

I am working on another camshaft test that should give Robert and I the data we need to make the most of this grind for the WR.

Thanks to all of those giving support and good feedback to the technical information in this thread.
Wow,this forum still doesn't have or make enough money? I wonder who would be complaining about vendor status? I can only take one guess. I find it pretty low that someone has to stoop to that level. This thread was started by a non-vendor (sorry Justin) to most likely tell the community what was available from an outside shop. Now that their product is getting all of the attention some other vendor or person doesn't think it's fair because he or she has vendor status.

Time to grow up people, and let the rest of us figure out what we think of this product.

To get reasonable turbo kit pump gas power without the turbo kit price... you might just be.

This appears to be the holy grail that may of us were looking for since 2003. We wanted a TURBO REPLACEMENT that gave a substantial increase in power, without substantial compromise. It bolts in the stock location with all OE hardware, appears externally stock, makes up-wards of 60whp more at 7500rpm than stock, and not only does not give up any drivability, but increases low end drivability (I know rush hour). I'm one of the many screaming aftermarket prices have gotten pretty damn stupid. However, if I ever believed there was a place to spend some extra money, this would be it. Do a search on my posts... you will find I lean to the frugal, and what works vs. bling-bling (I believe you kids call it )

would you be happier if they threw in an tubular exhaust manifold that would crack a month later? how about a turbo that would hit full boost by 5000 rpm and a tubular manifold that will crack a month later?

I don't personally think it's all that badly priced. It will most likely go down when supplies are easier to obtain.

I think the price also reflects 2 years of research and development. I think for the power potential and ease of install, the price is just right. I mean, turbos arent exactly cheap these days. Any nice GT Garrett turbo is $1200-1600, and they are mass produced. So basically, a custom made turbo to fit just our cars with great potential with a price tag of $1500 doesnt seem to bad to me.... Im gettin it!

Let's see, a new wheel designed over the last two years in this decade... or a mirrored design of a 1980's wheel. There is a bit of a difference I'm sure. I'm not knocking the "21G" at all... and I respect the Buschur camp greatly. I just find it funny that once again, someone else comes up with something "fresh", and the wagons start circling.

i think the price is fair... everyone is forgetting that the ti internals are ti... that is not cheap... you also get a comp wheel machined outta al. the price is steep only for the price to hp gain ratio. otherwise... what's the whining for? you're getting top of the line work, top of the line seemlessness, top of the line spool, only thing not top of the line is the hp number. cry about it, cuz the track numbers are top of the line too.
