I think that needs to be explained by the originator of the design. All will be told in due time at his descretion. I just got off the phone with him and he is really busy so, it may take a while for him to chime in and give you the details. At this time, I am unable to disclose the development process and engineering aspects of the turbo other than the fact that it is a 53 lb/min comp wheel. Originally, it was designed to be a 55 lb/min wheel but, with the limited size of the compressor housing a little compromise had to be made with the exducer. Thus, the 53 lb/min rating.

I think you and Imyturboluva(whatever your name is) are taking my posts the wrong way. I am not in here saying the turbo is a pos and it isn't gonna work. I was just expressing that we have a right to be sckeptical. We all have our opinions, this one is mine. Everyone seems to think that I want all of these turbos to fail.....HELL NO! A bolt upgrade of 30whp will do the same for you guys that it will for me, make us that much faster without having to shell out major bones. I just get tired of the fanboys that get on each thread claiming this and that about a product that has never been tested(you have not done this). I wish you guys luck and hope you can help up make some mad powah

I'm sure as more info. become available we will all be able to make better decisions in regard to this new turbo, although initial results look somewhat promising.

We'll post some track results later this week if my clutch holds. The new clutch was waiting on the porch when I got home, so I can put it in if the stocker croaks. I just don't have time to break it in before Wednesday night.

Have them contact me.. I'll test one out.. have to figure out how to do a test against a stocker on the same day with the same conditions..

I would actually like to do a real test, I have an 03 turbo on my car, a TME turbo in a box, and I will have an 05 USDM RS turbo in a few days.. The logistics and expense are something I have to ponder (Swapping 4 turbos and testing in one day is a marathon of effort)

I hate you so much Robert. I have yet to even get my WR running perfect and you drop this bomb. Bastard At least I'll get to see your car at the track and on the dyno.

I'm lining up the hardware now.. I want to also have a WR lined up also so I need to hear from everyone soon. Then I have to find somewhere to wrench and dyno that won't kill me for the day...

I will certainly suggest you Jack, especially if the shop they contacted can't do it. Have you made it to Texas yet?

With 280 cams is held just over 23 pounds of boost and tapered to 21 until 8k rpm. It was very solid. Race gas numbers are still in the final stages. It was only run to 26 psi and surpased torque and HP numbers of the RNR GT35R at the same boost. We haven't taken it up to 28 psi yet, but that is coming.

Actually the spool of the WR seems to be the same as the TME unit. Check out my WR vs. Alex Alex's car FYI.

I think that the spool is a little slower on Robert's car due to the fact that he is running 280 cams. In the top end however, they really allow the SS55 to flow. At this point the turbo is hampered by the stock turbo WG actuator. I think that Buschur's new WG actuator will help out a lot in this aspect. That way we can crank her up to 28+ psi. I don't think we will try 30 psi...according to David it seems to be a little rough on the stock turbine wheel.

I'll bet we can hook ya up, Jack. I'd be all over this, but I may be going overseas for an extended period.
