The turbo is matched to the static mechanical efficiency of the engine (not the other way around), which is partly determined by the cams. If a cam set that is proven to increase mechanical efficiency in every other application suddenly appears to falter, I'm afraid that it would require a fair amount of investigation to convince me that the turbo blocked the expected increase, unless of course it had some unusual physical attribute, and I'm not convinced that's the case.

I don't know what this has to do with the White Rabbit turbo but since we are off topic, your right in the straights, the Lambo is gonna pull hard on the EVO, but I don't see how it would be impossible for the EVO to keep up on a tight handling course, the EVO is an incredible road course car, the Lambo is very good too, but the FQ400 is pretty much made for that type of racing. I mean AWD, plus weight that hovers around 3000 to 3100Lbs (Lambo weighs in close to 3600Lbs), plus incredible suspension, and shorter gears makes the FQ400 an awesome car on a tight road course. Again on the straights the difference in HP will be evident and the Lambo should pull pretty easily.
