So I got a buschur fmic from my friend with a set of Helix IC pipes... As I was putting them on the car today I ahd a problem getting the IC to sit even and bolt up because the hydrolic line from the acd was stopping the IC from sitting right. And the IC pipes wouldnt fit because of the ACD control hydrolic or whatever it is in the driverside behing the bumper. Is this a problem on all 05;s or am I doing something very stupid?

iu was thinking of geting br upper ic pipes but now you say this it makes me scared to do so. humm what to do now.

 

I had Helix IC pipes on my 2005 with stock turbo. I then got the BR FMIC Deluxe. I know what youre talking about. When I put on the new FMIC, I was thinking to myself "these f'n lines are in the way" however, just bolt the IC up best you can and force in on there carefully.. if I remember correctly I slighly moved the ACD line so it would fit. After some minor tweaking it fit perfect. You must use force, but be careful! Ill try and take some pictures tomororw, its too dark right now.

EDIT: I just saw your talking about the ACD lines regarding the UPPER IC pipe? I thuoght you meant the FMIC install. I had the Helix upper on with the BR FMIC at first, now I have the BR Deluxe upper, both fit no problem with the ACD. However, I must say overall the Helix upper IC pipe fits like absolute ****, they shouldnt even sell that thing.

 

dude i have a 2005 with injen intake/upper pipe and buschur deluxe and i havent had any problems either

 

i just installed the a buschur intercooler today i had the same problem, I used a pipe bender and moved the lines out of the way

 

i have the perrin intercooler with UR piping.....no problems.

 

Hey I still have the Injen upper IC pipe if you want to give that a try.
