For those who aren't familiar with our dyno, here are some typical AWD results:

Stock 2.0 WRX--> 160-165whp
Stock STi--> 215-220whp
Stock 03-04 EVO 8--> 200-205whp
Stock 05 EVO 8--> 210-215whp
Stock 06 EVO 9--> 230-235whp
Stock Porsche 993tt-->300-305whp
Stock Porsche 996tt-->315-320whp

As far as bhp goes, I'm guessing we're in the 360-365bhp range.

Shiv quick question. Now that you have gotten more and more into the IX, what is the MAIN difference between the 05' and 06's thats giving that much more hp? Is it the turbo? Or a combination of the MIVEC and turbo? Just curious, bc i might upgrade to an Evo IX turbo if thats the case

With the MIVEC Zero'd out it appears as if it's making 6 peak hp less. However, torque is drastically affected. I'd like to see what a free flow exhaust would do.

Cams are currently unavailible on the IX due to the MIVEC. This might apply to the intake side only, but noone seems to want to offer up their car as a test yet

Good question. Not so sure I have all the answers. I'm I'm pretty sure its a combination of cams/mivec and the turbo. I don't think there are any other variables involved other than a supposedly free-er flowing exhaust. We'll know how good or bad the stock exhaust system is tomorrow when I bolt on a signature downpipe, cat, and cat-back. Can you guess what I'll be doing while all you guys are stuffing down turkey and stuffing?

We'll be ready to offer custom dyno-tuning for EVO IXs very soon. I just want to see what other bolt-ons can do first before we open the flood gates and start tuning ***** nilly.
