Early in the day with the .40 enrichment and bad plugs the car would stall if i did that.

I drilled a hole for the bleed line so it would not bend downward. If the bleed line went thru the boot it would have bent. I figured it easier to bleed the way I did it.

It just sounds like a DSM with a fidanza
Youll get used to the incredibly quick engagement within a few days. Then its fun because anyone else that tries to drive it will stall it ten times trying to move it. Ill let you know how the Quartermasters one is. They look incredibly similair (Same type TOB, etc..).

Thanks for the excellent detailed, honest, real-world feedback, Joey.
We had taken pictures during our install, but they ended up getting deleted off of the camera before they were uploaded.
I have talked to our main contact at Tilton and as soon as I get another car through here, we will get measurements on the two lines and Tilton will start making them as seperate pieces. Traditionally, as Scott said, their stuff is much more racer oriented. They give extra line because some people may want to route it differently, some may prefer a different length, some may not be using the motor the clutch is designed for in a production application, etc.
However, I pointed out that these clutches are going to a slightly different demographic and the street guys will have much less experience working with SS lines. He said it wouldn't be a problem, as long as everyone agreed on the length. It didn't even come up during our last install because our techs have been cutting the line for the Supra installs for a few years now.
And tell your dad not to feel too bad - I've stalled a few Tilton cars myself.
Actually, after driving around in a client's hybrid-equipped car yesterday - I couldn't believe how much... "slower" and "sluggish" a stock clutch equipped car felt.
