Talking Evolution MR short throw...

I've been missing my third gear a lot recently...

Even when I'm not really pushing it.

So I was looking into short throws, but most of them say that it will not fit the MR editions...

So... What can I do about this problem?

There is no short throw available for the MR unless you're in driving distance of Works, but I highly doubt that's the reason you're missing 3rd anyway. Maybe try some shifter bushings?

I personally went with the Kartboy bushing set (www.kartboy.com). $45 gets you the bushings at the shift linkages and the shifter mount.

World of difference... much more notchy and direct.

Yeah, I use Kartboy. They are great except the underhood bushings don't fit on the MR without modification. On the 5spd, they're fine...

Hm... How much modification are we talking about? And modification to the tranny or the bushings themselves?

The bushings have to be cut. I just didn't bother and only installed the shifter bushings.

If I just wanna get the shifter bushings..
is that the shift linkage bushings? (first option on their site)
OR are they the shifter base bushings? (second option)
