10.5 hotside ?
10.5 hotside ?
i am interseted in adding a few extra hp. i was looking into the 10.5 hotside. i noticed on gruppe-s they had a single and double port, the one being about 30.00 more than the other, which one should i get. what is the difference? also how much of a pain is it to install(how many labor hrs), how much hp can i expect?? thanks.
the single port is the new version of the 10.5....the dual flapper is the same like on the 9.8. The single is supposed to have a smoother flow/holds boost better..its an improvment over the dual flapper design. I plan on getthing the 10.5 single port and MR 02 housing pretty soon myself
yeah i was going to get some buddyclub spec II cams 264/272... but decided to go with o2 housing and 10.5 and flash...my goal has always been 300-310whp and with that set up i will be there.Cams was something i thought about at the last min...i mean they are awesome...but i really plan on stop modding once i hit my goal...and when u get cams u got to get tuned which is another 300+ on top of the the 400/500 for cams just dont feel like spending anymore.

93 i am pretty close i am not quite there...there are no dynos in san antonio at least that i know of ...but some really smart ppl on this site (WT and others) and a couple of ppl who work on my car with me say i should be around 280whp right now...the flash will def get me to 300whp and the o2 housing and 10.5 will add who knows.

I've gathered from those here smarter than me that the single/dual flapper issue is pretty much negated if you plan to upgrade your WG actuater. (ie higher boost applications with alky 23-26psi) Otherwise the fact that I'm about to install an "old tech" dual would drive me nuts.
