That is good news! Can you tell us, why they changed their minds?

Persistence! lol

To be honest, I just told them the truth about how "little" I have used the clutch, gave them all the documentation(install receipt, dyno graphs), and after a few phone calls he said they would replace it for free.

Well to rebuild a triple cerametallic it costs about what a brand new twin disk costs $1500, but that means you get a new flywheel, floater disks, clutch disks, and pressure plate. The only thing you keep is the clutch cover and spring. If I turned my flywheel it would be $300 cheaper, but I will save my salvagable old parts to resurface for my next rebuild down the road. If it performs as well as it did last season with all that abuse, it should last me at least 3 years or so with how much I am going to cut back on racing.

It is not a lemon. I have replaced 2 of these on cars with GT35R's and each had under 10k miles.

My exedy twin carbon failed on me today also. I've had it for less than 5,000 miles.

We are having a special on ATS Twin-Carbon clutches... pm me or call the shop for more details. . . For a few hundred more than the Exedy Twin HD, you can have an ATS Twin Carbon... there are tons of evos running these in the Arizona heat and none has failed...

If you are a shop, then pm me for shop prices... all i need is your tax info.

exedy carbon clutches suck. I had an HD exedy twin carbon clutch with 380whp and it lasted 2500 miles. Eevery day i would drive the car I needed to heat it up for it to hold the power. I was waking up going to school, so i'd need to heat it up for that. Then after school on my way to work heat it up again, then if iw ent out that night heat it up again. After i heated it up it would grab great and the shifts were amazing. So after heating it up 5 times a day for 2-3 weeks it was shot. If i didnt heat it up I couldnt even partial throttle it without it slipping. Thank god I was able to get a triple ceremetallic from exedy. I wanted an HD twin but they didnt have any so i took the triple and ended up splitting my bellhousing in half with it.
