This is now like listening to people discussing their sports teams (especially when those teams aren't good). They rely on their emotions and don't respond well to real data.

There have been many threads on Buschur stuff needing to be fixed, or fitment issues. Now that being said, Buschur is very quick to market and their customer service is top notch (from what I've observed). But they aren't known for their top-notch quality. I like Dave, don't get me wrong, but we could go into data if you want.

Its called an "opinion" there big guy. Everything I have gotten from BR has been great. Real data? Believe me, I go by it and thats why I have used BR products in the past and I continue to.

Well, it seems to be an "opinion" you hold onto very dearly, even when people point things out to the contrary.

Funny you arent picking out the Works Fanboys who troll around with their opinions "they hold so dearly". Oh wait... I just noticed you spent the $800 on that 02/DP combo

This thread is about the downpipe flange on his DP not being 3". My opinion of Buschur and his products are based upon my personal experiences, which have been good. Not to mention my brother also has had nothing but good experiences with his parts on his DSM which he has had since 1996. I had my DSM in 1998 and the best parts available were always Buschur ones. He had the best FMIC/piping , exhaust, CAI, etc. Ive seen some people complain but the only thing I can go by is my first hand experiences with the products, and Ive owned a lot of them.

Listen, I don't know what to tell you. Yes, I spent money on Works stuff. I also spent money on Vishnu, AMS, Buschur, RNR, FP and Nisei so to call me a fan boy is being intellectualy dishonest or just not paying attention.

The whole Works/Invidia/Ebay housing debate is slighly silly. There are planey of bellmouth housings for turbos, and it's more of a theoretical debate versus real world application. THe Evo runs so much boost, how often is the wastegate open to even potentially disrupt flow?

Not that I don't believe you haven't had good luck with Buschur, but two things:

1) The level of quality expected between a DSM and an Evo aren't the same

2) Your experience with you and your brother are anecdotal. Increase your sample size.

A bit off topic but...

I personally am happy that there are a handful of vendors that make quality parts to begin with otherwise where would the aftermarket be on these cars.

I have had Buschur parts on my prior 2005 MR. This time however I went the WORKS route on my GSR w/ssl to try someone different and couldn't be more pleased. I have yet to have one problem with my WORKS parts on my GSR (no CEL's, etc.), so if I'd paid a little bit more for piece of mind that's my business. My car pulls hard with the P2r flash and catback.

I think you can find out where the vendors passion and loyalty really lies by asking this simple sudo question and this could be asked of any vendor -

For example:

David, if I purchased the WORKS TR-340 kit would your shop be more than happy to install the package on my EVO? If I got an answer other than yes we'd be more than happy to do the work, please schedule a time and here is our hourly rate than I would be suspect of their motives.

I wish you guys would just quit your bickering and stop cluttering this thread. I think most of us just want to see the Buschur test results and couldn’t care less about your personal opinions.

I didnt call you a fanboy. I called you out for actually choosing my statement about Buschur, who I am clearly not a fanboy of yet their are Works Fanboys trolling the thread. As for BR, I think highly of him and his products, thats all.

I know the differences between an EVO and DSM... believeeee me. However, the main theory still sticks. I bought BR parts, they fit and performed flawlessly. The end.

Youre telling me to increase my sample size? Im not doing a science project, Im buying parts for my car. I go by past experiences with a vendor and first hand experiences, which happen to be my brothers as well. I think thats more than enough for someone to make an educated decision on buying again or making a statement that his parts are of great quality. Its called an opinion and my experiences have lead me to that opinion, that simple. For the record, the only BR products on my EVO are the FMIC and UICP. I also, like you, have a plether of different parts, as you can see in my sig.

I couldn't agree more. I was very surprised that Al nor Warr chimed in. I am actually glad they didn't because again, see what I quoted. ^^^^^^^^^^^
