Reverse Gear issue HELP

i have an 04 evo. I can go forward just fine through all the gear. I can't go reverse. Try every test, i can let go of the clutch all the way and car still wouldn't move and the engine still running. WEIRD. When i put it reverse it doesn't feel like it's lock in gear. HELP please

Check your cable, sounds like its adjustment is fouled up and not fully engaging all the way to reverse.. Had you altered anything with the shifter recently? (Bushings, adjustments, etc?)

Have the console apart recently for any reason? Anything get hung up in there? (New wires or whatnot)

Did you ever get a fix for this problem? My reverse is completely locked out also, and i just had a ACT clutch installed a week before.

So what exactly was the problem though? Was it the tranny, synchros, clutch, cable? Im stuck with this brand new clutch and no reverse!

Adjust the clutch rod and get a new clutch. It will save you a lot of headache in the future...

^^ That is exactly what mine does. Its at a shop right now, and they cant figure out what is causing it unless they drop the tranny again.
