advice pls..do i need to adjust clutch?
i just put in a exedy stage 1 organic clutch and it grabs as soon as i let off the pedal. it grabs like maybe 1/2-1 inch off the floor so is that normal or do i need to adjust the clutch? everything shifts smooth and fine.
No, it's not close to normal. Yes, adjust it OUT by following the write-up on Evomoto.com. Just go there and browse to their tech guides. It's pretty simple and only requires an 8mm open-end wrench I think.
i believe its a 12mm wrench, loosen the nut and turn the rod while pushing on the clutch pedal with your other hand while turning the rod. you dont have to push it hard just up and down nice and easy while turning the rod which should be a little slippery.
You need a 12 mm wrench and a pair of needle nose pliers. Theres a rod on the back of the pedal that has a locknut on it. Loosen the nut with the 12mm and use the pliers to udjust the rod. The rod is screwed into the pedal. Udjust your height by loosening or tightening the rod. Basically making "higher or lower".
A few drives around the block after adjustment and your done.
This is the only way to do it. Period

You can use your hand as well.
It needs to be adjusted, but don't spend too much time on it yet trying to get it just perfect. You'll most likely want to readjust it after you give it a week or so of break-in.
just twist the rod with your hand once you bust the nut loose.
if you can't easily turn the rod modulate the clutch pedal slightly with your other hand and you can feel the point where the rod becomes loose.
